Michal Lukasiewicz – was born in 1974 in Pulawy (Poland). Since 1995 he has lived and worked in Antwerp, Belgium for over twenty years. He is a self-taught painter and, as he admits, the work of the Benelux countries has had a strong influence on his artistic style. Working primarily in acrylic, his works are almost monochrome, if not for the patches of shades like off-white, ochre, sienna, pink, grays, and neon oranges and yellows.
