Michal Lukasiewicz
Michal Lukasiewicz – was born in 1974 in Pulawy (Poland). Since 1995 he has lived and worked in Antwerp, Belgium for over twenty years. He is a self-taught painter and, as he admits, the work of the Benelux countries has had a strong influence on his artistic style. Working primarily in acrylic, his works are almost monochrome, if not for the patches of shades like off-white, ochre, sienna, pink, grays, and neon oranges and yellows.

Born 1980 in San Francisco, California, Aaron Nagel began drawing as a child and gradually made his way to painting. Upon discovering oils in his early twenties, he became enamored with the medium and has been obsessed ever since.

Stephen Fox was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1957. By the fourth grade he knew he would be an artist of some kind—his earliest serious work was drawing and inking his own comic books. His interest in art and oil painting blossomed in college (V.C.U., Richmond, VA), where he studied painting and printmaking, receiving his BFA in 1980.
Ion Carchelan
Ion Carchelan’s career spans nearly twenty years: he is now considered one of Moldova’s premiere painters. Carchelan began his formal arts education in childhood, at the Children’s Art School in Nisporeni, Moldova. He studied painting continuously through university, and thereafter he toured Europe to supplement his academic training with direct observation of the work of painters.

Zeynep Akgün
Zeynep Akgün was born in 1975, in Uzunköprü (Turkey). She has graduated from Painting Department in Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in 1997, where she has also done her master’s degree in 2000. She has participated in several exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey and abroad, while also collaborating with the initiatives “Arkhe” and “216” in several group exhibitions. She currently resides in Istanbul, where her workshop is located in.
