Alejandra Medina (Alepaints) was born in 1982 in Zamora, Mich, Mexico. Since childhood she has been interested in drawing and painting. Next to her day job as an engineer, art and creativity always played an important role in her life.

This inspired her to take her first painting lessons in 2014 at the “Hola Color Academy”. Transmitting people’s passions and emotions plays an important role in her work. Across these works, she likes to use different techniques and explore various mediums of which her favorite one is oil paint.

”I am a painter crazy about colours and textures. Love to paint the human face and its expressions. I love to paint the human figure especially the face and its expressions. Usually I find inspiration in fine art photography on the internet. If an image keeps coming back to my thoughts then it means that I really NEED to paint it.” Alejandra
