Cesar Santos is known for his figurative works, which juxtaposed classical esthetics and contemporary philosophy drawn from his diverse life experiences. His work has been exhibited in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia; including the Museum of Art and Design in Miami, Villa Bardini Museum in Florence, the National Gallery in Costa Rica and the Bejing World Art Museum in China.

In 2000 he enrolled at the New World School of the Arts but, just before graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he dropped out in search of his visual language. In 2006 he graduated from the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. His work is an investigation on contrast and form, playing with opposites. Actualizing old school techniques to shape ideas into lyrical and dramatic pieces. He is in permanent collections at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily, the New Salem Museum and Academy of Fine Art in Massachusetts and the Museum of Art and Design in Miami.
