Paintings by Gianfranco Menegatti

Gianfranco Menegatti is a young Italian artist (b.1991) from Abruzzo, based in Milan. His artistic education takes place at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, wherein 2016 he successfully graduated. From 2017 it’s also the Manager of RocksArt the Looking for Art Fine Art Exhibition Group.

Menegatti’s pictorial style carries out an interesting analysis of the color concept. The subject often portrayed in his paintings is the human figure, in particular the female body, a visual exploration of the incommunicability idea.

Although the painted subjects are realistic, they are involved in a strong metaphysical deepness. The paintings of this series, digital or on canvas are intentionally created in a few hours, the speed of execution is a particularity that adds to the work’s strong quality and spontaneity.
