Karin Zeller lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she has worked as an artist for the past 18 years. Born in Germany, in 1956, Karin was 11 years old when her family moved to Ontario, Canada, where they lived on a farm. She always loved drawing and art, ever since she was a little girl, and it was always assumed that she would become an artist one day.
She has been a professional artist since 1990, earning a living doing commissions, selling her work in art shows and exhibitions, and teaching art. Karin is a self taught artist, and she has learned by attending many classes and workshops, as well, as teaching herself from many courses.
She also enjoys sharing her knowledge by teaching classes and workshops to budding artists. Karin has participated in many shows and exhibitions over the past 20 years. Her work appears in many places, but probably the most unusual was when her Tiger abstract appeared on the tail of a Czech fighter jet, and won 2nd prize at the 2013 NATO Tiger meet.
