Maryam Mughal is an artist from Islamabad, Pakistan. “ Since a child, the air in front of me was the canvas and I was brushing it with colors of my thoughts.

One day I did it on paper and the world around me said, wow, since than I was titled as a natural artist and my hands itch to create more art to beautify life around me.

I paint my desires, my expressions and expectations towards life according to my violent mood swings. For me, each of my painting is more like my own baby as I feel my soul in it. Most of my artwork explores contemporary figurative art, in particular women’s expressions.

Each piece is an expression of myself and my inner satisfaction. I have never worked in a ruled manner, as the artist’s eyes & hands are much more important than measurement and dimensions. Art is really just a communication of an artist mind and hand skills, but it should communicate. I believe that I paint nature. However I see nature in dreams, thoughts and desires … and I enjoy doing it. ” Maryam Mughal
