Olga Pelipas is an artist who was born in Simferopol(Ukraine). She now lives and works in Poland.

“ In my work I try to develop the theme of beauty and harmony of a woman. A female figure appears as an allegory of nature. I’m close to the image of ancient goddesses who are responsible for the various elements of nature.

In my paintings I combine naturalistic figures of women with decorative background. I create different textures and effects using various structural pastes. Work on the picture is quite unpredictable. I start painting right on the canvas, just at once I try to imagine in what color the picture will be. the process can be compared to mosaic section- details I build on a complex scheme, carefully selecting colors.” Olga Pelipas
