It is said that the creation of “Tao” originated from three models, one from Qingdao, one from Shantou, and one mixed race. It has the stubbornness of being broken and unyielding, and the sincerity of tempering, even though it is so fragile, it also believes in eternity… “Tao” also gained a lot of attention on commercial market. It was pirated and used in commercial advertisements on a large scale, making it the most pirated oil painting in the history of Chinese oil painting. The infringement of “Tao” was included in the top ten advertising disputes in China in 1999.
