Costantino Di Renzo, born in Chieti (Italy) in 1946. In 1974, he joined the hyperrealist movement, exhibiting his works at the Margutta Gallery in Pescara (1976) and the Il Modulo Gallery in Salerno (1977).

Surrealism was an artistic and literary movement that emerged in the aftermath of World War I, particularly in France, but also in other parts of Europe and the Americas. It was characterized by a rejection of traditional norms and conventions, and a focus on the power of the imagination and the subconscious mind. Surrealist artists often incorporated dream-like or fantastical elements into their works, blurring the line between reality and fantasy.
