Evandro Schiavone is a Brazilian artist who moves through the labyrinths of the unconscious through painting, intertwining and making dream and reality coexist through shapes, colors, lights and shadows that give the images a fairy-tale and elegant look.

Dreamlike flights narrated through illusions where there is no lack of irony and equally critical sense and depth. In fact, the topics covered are often the central ones of our time, reflecting on the delicate balance of nature, how man deals with the environment.

Most of the compositions are oil paintings, but there are also numerous pastel, ink and graphite drawings, while recurring elements in the works are music – another great passion of his – animals, flowers and among the subjects he often recalls to express own vision, the colorful circus universe: «I like fantasy, the imaginary, the things that we could not experience without the help of art. The playful universe allows me to exaggerate. I have no commitment to reality. I can saturate the colours, make analogies and play with this freedom».
